Take back your time freedom at university.

Why We Started

At Thursday Tutors, we recognise a need among undergraduate students to maintain flexibility in their schedules. Students juggle studying for multiple subjects concurrently, preparing job applications, and building up their social network. These are all valuable components of the university experience, and students should not be forced to choose between stellar academics and thriving in other aspects of their life.

Thursday Tutors gives back this flexibility, allowing students to master course material irrespective of the lecture timetables at their institution.

Tutoring is open to all undergraduate students enrolled in a UK university. Subjects offered are those under Accounting, Economics or Finance departments at your university.

Common Arrangements

Prep Courses - Student masters a subject ahead of the university term. This allows difficult concepts to be introduced and digested beforehand, reducing the revision burden in the lead-up to exams. This mode is also ideal for students not wanting to spread themselves too thinly during term time.

Exam Crash Course - Student takes up additional guided revision in preparation for examinations. This mode allows students to focus on other aspects of their university experience throughout term time, while knowing they will be supported to revise material before exams.

Course Auditing - Student learns a subject for which they are not enrolled at their institution. Most universities limit students to certain predetermined course requirements for progression. Course auditing allows students to explore an interest in adjacent courses, broadening their understanding of key areas relevant to job applications and future roles in industry.
